Mellanie “MJ” Hunter is an energetic professional Keynote Speaker, Confidence Coach, Business Strategist, and Event Producer on a mission to empower the masses to thrive with authenticity and confidence in life and business.
Committed to being the powerful person her younger self needed, MJ works to enable trailblazing visionaries of all walks of life to tap into the power of authentic confidence to overcome barriers and unleash limitless possibilities.
A fortuitous layoff in 2017 launched her into full-time entrepreneurship as a business startup coach. A few years later, MJ pivoted again when she felt the pull to step onto the stages of the world and share her story of evolution from marginal undergrad student to limitless, confident woman of purpose. through speaking and coaching at a mastermind level.
The accomplished single mom of two amazing adults and lover of all things orange is absolutely thriving in “Phase 3” of her life and plans to live to be 106. MJ’s 30-year meandering career path included stints as a “Kelly girl” temp, forklift driver, church musician, Pre-Calculus tutor, substitute teacher, Corporate Trainer, Data Analyst, and Certified Project Manager, a road marked with discovery, setbacks, disappointments, personal growth, and achievement.
This corporate veteran’s journey, coupled with her serial entrepreneurial adventures, have blessed her to amass a wealth of expertise, resilience, wisdom, creativity, skills, perspective, and pragmatic insights which she energetically brings to her current mission to
empower action-taking women to confidently repackage their expertise in agile, freedom-focused businesses that free them to curate lives of abundance and impact while building wealth from anywhere!
When she’s not changing the world, MJ enjoys devouring personal development books, mentoring youth, solo traveling, line dancing, hiking, hosting events for Divas With the Doctor (a community wellness initiative she founded), and plotting her first book. Her ever-present mantra which she declares loudly to the masses:
